Refunds for cancelled orders are issued immediately upon cancellation.
Refunds for returned items are issued only after the item is received and inspected for evidence of installation, other damage, missing parts, etc. We have a specific team in a central warehouse in the US that handles nothing but returns. They can normally process a return within two weeks of its receipt at the warehouse you have returned it to. However, during busy periods, this time can be extended.
This is not simply a reason to keep your money longer, we'd like to be able to get it back to you sooner so you have the most positive experience possible. Unfortunately, not everyone returns items in a saleable condition, so all returns have to go through this inspection process to protect against losses and to ensure that the next person who receives that part is satisfied with its condition.
For both cancellations and returns, it can take up to a week for the refunded amount to be credited back to your card or other payment method after we initiate the refund on our end. There is nothing we can do to impact the speed of the refund, this is a function of the operations of our payment processor and your credit card issuer.
To prevent fraud, all refunds must be sent back to the original method of payment used for the order.
